We use only the best Chemical Peel solutions by SkinCeuticals. Offering light to medium depth Chemical Peels.
Chemical peels can be applied to the face, hands, and neck and are used to improve the appearance or feel of the skin. During the procedure, a chemical solution is applied to the area being treated, which causes the skin to exfoliate and eventually peel off. Once this occurs, the softer, smoother skin underneath is revealed.
Our chemical peel treatments are combined with a soothing and hydrating mask followed by sun protection.
For years, chemical peels have been used to make skin look years younger and are one of the least invasive ways to improve the quality of our skin. By using a special chemical solution, damaged outer layers are removed revealing healthier skin below.
We provide a variety of mild and medium depth peels to address many concerns of the skin such as:
Reveal Smoother, Brighter, Healthier Skin. We offer several types of medical grade chemical peels by SkinCeuticals: light and medium facial peels are used to remove fine lines, discoloration while improving tone and texture of your skin. What are the benefits of a chemical peel? There are many incredible benefits in receiving a chemical peel.
Will I peel from a chemical peel? Some clients may or may not peel completely however, you will achieve the same benefits.
What is a chemical peel? A chemical peel is a skin resurfacing technique in which a chemical is applied to the face to remove the outer surface layers of skin, allowing new, healthier skin to emerge. Chemical peels come in a range of strengths, from a medium depth peel to more superficial peels. A chemical peel involves the application of a solution to the entire face or to specific areas to peel away the skin's top layers. Several light to medium-depth peels can often achieve similar results to one deeper peel treatment, with less risk and shorter recovery time.
How is a chemical peel performed? I will suggest a chemical solution for your skin type and condition. After gently cleansing your skin I will prep your skin with an acetone/alcohol wipe to remove any excess oil to have the chemical penetrate at a deeper level. The solution will be applied using a fan brush, gauze pad, or buffed into your skin, depending on which peel you will be receiving.
How does your skin feel during the chemical peel application? During application, you may experience slight tingling sensation (these sensations are usually minimal).
How long does the solution stay on my skin? The length of time depends on the solution being used. It is also determined by carefully observing the changes in appearance of your skin. With certain types of chemical peels, the solution may be "neutralized" after an appropriate amount of time (anywhere from 2-5 minutes)
